Main Cloister Mouse Pad - Convento de Cristo

Adaptation
Mouse pad, inspired by a detail of the Main Cloister, also called Cloister of D. João III.
Considered a masterpiece of the European Renaissance, it was built during the 16th century, initially by João de Castilho (1470-1552) and completed, for the most part, by Diogo de Torralva (1500-1566). Filipe Terzi (1520-1597), already in the reign of Filipe I of Portugal, took charge of the construction of an aqueduct and the final finishing touches, completing the cymatium and the elegant classical balustrade. He was followed by Pedro Fernandes Torres, who designed the cloister's central fountain.
